About old World

Between World Wars I and II, a passion for all things Old World swept through the mansions of the United States. This time around, it was America discovering Christopher Columbus, and we couldn't get enough European pedigree in our home planning.

Design Qualities

• Spanish and Mediterranean influences, English cottages, log homes - even medieval castles
• Evokes the handwork of the village blacksmith and the character of the yeoman carpenter

why we make it

Nothing quite says "romance" like the rolling thatched roof of a half-timbered cottage or a clay-tiled hacienda with arched windows opening onto wrought iron balconies - even if such charmingly rustic homes sit on a small suburban lot with a garage out back.
