Inspiration

"New" products arise from a mix of research, customer suggestions, and luck. We might start with an old catalogue image, a remarkable original, an Internet discovery, or pictures shared by customers. Or none of the above... When invited to tour a historic 1910 Portland home, we were stunned by its gorgeous original dining-room fixture and matching wall brackets. Amazingly, the fixture matched one from the childhood home of one of our employees - one he hadn't seen since (shown in the dinnertime snapshot on the previous page). This fixture would become our Hamlin.
