Do you offer benefits for part time employees?

There are some standard benefits that are available to all of our employees regardless of how may hours they work, which include:

  • A bus pass for those working in Oregon
  • A discount on our product
  • Days of service and a few others that that you can read about in Going The Extra Mile

Employees scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are able to enroll in our medical and dental plans.

What kind of dress code do you have?

Our environment is casual and we encourage our employees be themselves when they are at work. Some positions are subject to certain dress requirements based on the type of work they do, for example, our production polishers were protective gear. Generally you'll find most of us wear jeans to work - as long as they aren't torn or tiny.

Do you hire seasonal employees?

We do. Seasonal employees are hired when we have a need for the short term - six months or less. Sometimes a seasonal employee becomes a "regular employee" when our business needs call for it. We will designate in the job posting when a job is seasonal and also include how long we think the assignment will last. Most often our seasonal jobs are needed in the manufacturing departments, but we do occasionally have seasonal needs in other departments.

Do you have to be an old house crazy to work at Rejuvenation?

You sure don't. Some of us are the definition of an old house crazy, some of us have become an old house crazy since we've started working here, and some of us even live in brand new houses and have never purchased anything old in our lives. Hiring folks that love old hardware, lighting and homes have many benefits - folks who bring their passion to work is exciting for us. One thing we do want from all of our employees is alignment with our values and a commitment to be responsible and accountable for the success of Rejuvenation.

If I applied for a job six months ago and the same position is open again, do I need to re-apply?

You do. There are times when the requirements change a little bit from one hire to the next even for the same job.

Do your employees get a discount on your product?

We do! Employees are eligible for a 40% discount off the original price on our products. It is a great benefit and one that helps feed the needs of the old house crazies around here.

Do you offer internships?

Currently, we do not.

How often are your jobs update online?

Job postings are posted on our website as soon as we are ready to accept applications. We keep positions open until they have been successfully filled.

Do you have any tips for me when applying?

  • Check us out: We appreciate folks that have taken the time to really check us out. That could mean spending some time on our website or even taking a stroll through one of our retail stores if it is convenient.
  • Spelling counts: Spelling "Rejuvenation" correctly is a great first step.
  • Good cover letter: Let us know why you've applied, why you want to work with us, and how your experience fits with the job you've applied for.

What if I want to work at Rejuvenation and there aren't any jobs open that I am interested in?

We're always on the hunt for great employees.
