Lighting & Shades

  • Wishlist: Using the site or catalogue, create your wish list before coming to the store.
  • Options: Have first and second choices for fixtures, finishes, and shades.
  • Dimension: Know your room dimensions--length, width, and ceiling height.
  • Measurements: Measure your ceiling height from the junction box or where the fixture will hang. Bring a tape measure with you.

Hardware & Hosuepart

  • Measurements: Pe-measure anything you are replacing, and bring a sample if at all possible.
  • Interior and exterior door sets & parts: Measure your door's backset - the distance from the center of the knob to the door's edge.
  • Door or cabinet hinges: Bring a sample if you can, or trace its outline, including screw holes, on a piece of paper.
  • Cabinet hardware: Bring a sample, or at least measure the distance between the centers of each screw hole.
