Lisa Snell, Director of Retail

Throughout her varied career, Lisa has combined business with altruism - as evidenced by a diverse background that includes retail, teaching, travel, and community service. A strong desire to work for a values-based organization led her to Rejuvenation, where her caring and committed demeanor is ideal for overseeing our retail sales division.
Lisa was raised around retail, and spent time in the stores of her grandfather and uncle near Detroit. After attending Kalamazoo College in Michigan, Lisa taught environmental education in Maine, before stints with the Audubon Society and the Academy of Natural Sciences in Philadelphia. Her sales background and connection to nature led her back to retail as a manager in the ski and outdoor industry, including 14 years with REI.
After successfully managing stores in Michigan, Washington, D.C., and Eugene, Oregon, Lisa once again felt compelled to contribute in another way. This time, she and her husband joined the Peace Corps and landed in Morocco, where they taught English and ran a youth development program for two years.
Following her return to the U.S., Lisa joined Rejuvenation in March 2006. She was already familiar with the business and, like many of our customers, discovered the company during a do-it-yourself bathroom remodel. Lisa also maintains an innate appreciation of vintage homes after growing up in a 1927 Dutch Colonial.
Fortunately for us, Lisa's multi-faceted forays into business, retail, and globe-trekking, combined with hands-on experience with older homes, help her create a dynamic and rewarding retail experience for employees and customers alike.
