Scott Clark, Director of Information Systems
Scott is Director of Information Systems for Rejuvenation, where he is responsible for the internal network of computers and applications that are the backbone of our business.
Scott brings a varied and eclectic background to his role. After graduating from Dartmouth with a degree in Russian Studies, Scott worked as a banker and helped international clients facilitate their business ventures. After 10 years, Scott made the leap from banking to computers and became a programmer, joining Rejuvenation in April 2002.
When not warding off evil internet viruses, Scott and his team are responsible for overseeing our systems and making sure they support the company's business initiatives - including our commitment to sustainability. Scott is actively involved in analyzing the lifecycle of hardware, making sure our systems are energy-efficient, and working on creative ways to keep obsolete equipment out of the local landfill.
Not surprisingly, Scott's personal life is equally diverse. He once headed a low-income housing group, raising funds and volunteering time. He is a longstanding member of the Portland Gay Men's Chorus, and appears in several performances a year. Scott also has an impressive green thumb and has introduced many coworkers to the joys of growing their own tomatoes, courtesy of his starter plants. He lives in a 1903 bungalow that he shares with his partner and their lab/shepherd mix dog. Like many of our employees and customers, Scott considers his home a work in progress and bravely continues to chip away at the list of improvements.
