Rejuvenation Names Alysa Rose
as General Manager
PORTLAND, Ore. (April 28, 2005) - Rejuvenation today announced that Alysa Rose, VP of Marketing and Direct Sales at Rejuvenation, has been named General Manager of the company. In her expanded role, Rose will oversee all operational functions of Rejuvenation. With the departure of former CEO Mary Roberts, company owner Jim Kelly has reassumed the role of President and CEO.
Reporting to Alysa Rose will be all members of Rejuvenation's administration team: John Klosterman, VP of Product; Brian Reynolds, CFO and VP of Support Services; Jarvis Brecker, Retail Director; Doug Mouw, General Merchandising Manager; and a new head of Marketing. Rejuvenation will immediately begin the search to fill that role, vacated by Rose.
"After a nationwide search, I came to the conclusion that the best candidate to lead Rejuvenation was not only right here in Portland, but right down the hall," says Jim Kelly. "Alysa has a proven track record, and among other successes, has been instrumental helping us define the Rejuvenation brand. I am confident that she is the right person to help lead Rejuvenation to its next stage of growth."
Rose joined Rejuvenation in 2001, and brought with her a background in developing national branded products and marketing them through multiple channels. Prior to joining Rejuvenation, Rose worked in brand management at Colgate Palmolive before moving to Portland in 1993 and holding senior marketing positions at Transitions for Health. She holds an undergraduate degree from Tufts University and an MBA from Cornell University.
Since joining Rejuvenation, Rose has updated the look and feel of the company's annual Resource Guide, website and advertising, while staying true to a brand with 28 years of history and a devoted customer base. Her background in consumer marketing and the catalogue industry is a great asset, as is her passion for inspiring customers and helping them make well-informed choices, which supports Rejuvenation's customer-centric philosophy.
