Rejuvenation Promotes Alysa Rose
from General Manager to President
Portland, Ore. (December 14, 2006) - Rejuvenation, the country's leading manufacturer of period-authentic lighting and house parts, is pleased to announce the promotion of Alysa Rose to President.
"Rejuvenation is 30 years old this year and has been very successful serving its customers and expanding its market nationally," Rose says. "I'm really excited and honored to guide our success in an increasingly challenging marketplace."
Rose was hired in 2001 to lead an expanded direct marketing effort. She was promoted from VP Marketing to General Manager in 2005.
"I love this company. We make great products, employ talented people, and balance profitability with social responsibility. Being part of it is a privilege and a joy. "
Every year, Rejuvenation gives ten percent of the company's yearly pre-tax profits to community programs and continues to integrate environmental sustainability into all aspects of its manufacturing and retail business.
The $35 million company employs 230 people in Oregon and Washington. Rejuvenation opened its second retail store in Seattle in 2004.
Rose worked for Transitions for Health before coming to Rejuvenation. She holds an MBA from Cornell and a bachelor's degree in International Relations from Tufts. Rose lives with her husband and two children in a 1925 bungalow in Northeast Portland; she has almost achieved her goal of one day having a Rejuvenation light fixture in every room.
