Rejuvenation Supports Northwest Earth Institute with Earth Day Promotion

Portland Ore. (March 2008) - Rejuvenation, the country's leading manufacturer and retailer of authentic lighting and house parts, is pleased to support The Northwest Earth Institute in honor of Earth Day 2008.

During the week of April 19-27, Rejuvenation will donate 30% of sales of its energy-efficient GU24 light fixtures to The Northwest Earth Institute. GU24 Twist & Lock sockets provide a home-owner friendly alternative to the pin-base compact fluorescent sockets generally used in commercial buildings. GU24 can be installed in most Rejuvenation fixtures at no additional cost and bulb replacement is even easier than changing a screw-in bulb.

Based in Portland, The Northwest Earth Institute is the leader in the development of innovative programs that empower individuals and organizations to protect ecological systems. To date, cumulative enrollment has reached over 85,000 participants and courses have been offered in all 50 states, Canada, Puerto Rico, Sweden and New Zealand.

Today, NWEI offers seven study guides for small groups. These self-guided discussion courses are offered in workplaces, homes, faith centers, neighborhoods, and community centers throughout North America.

NWEI programs encourage participants to explore their values, attitudes, and actions through discussion with other people. These programs are organized around three key principles:

Every year, Rejuvenation gives a minimum of 10 percent of its profits to community programs and continues to integrate environmental sustainability into all aspects of its manufacturing and retail business. The $35 million company employs over 200 people in Oregon and Washington.
