Rejuvenation Makes a Splash with Colorful New Fixtures, Shades and Porcelain Bath Hardware

New "Vintage-Remixed" colors let homeowners capture the fun and creativity of the roaring 20s-30s, in the eclectic and personal interiors of today.

PORTLAND, Ore. May 23, 2008

Ideal for kitchen and bathroom remodel projects, Rejuvenation introduces new colorful versions of popular fixtures, shades, and porcelain hardware that capture the spirited creativity of eras past, while complimenting the eclectic and personal spaces of today.

In the 1920s and 1930s, color began to play a new powerful role in interiors – especially in kitchens and bathrooms. A move towards brightly colored tile, linoleum, and suites of matching glazed sinks, toilets, and tubs heralded a fresh and forward-looking approach to decorating.

Inspired by this bold movement, Rejuvenation's latest light fixtures, shades and porcelain hardware retain the original spirit of the times, while presenting a range of colors that work well across a wide range of today's interiors.

Signature Rejuvenation flush-mount light fixtures the Jefferson and the Lombard expand their appeal and are now available in rich, cheerful paint colors: Willow Green, Ruby Red and Classic White.

A classic schoolhouse shade is now available with lively dual-tone painted stripes best described as "vintage-remixed" colors in two contemporary combinations: Green and Brown; and Red and Brown. These slender bands of color add an attractive design element to the shade without affecting the tone of the shade's glow. Two different fitter sizes, 4" and 6", are available. An unpainted version of shade is also available in plain Opal White.

To complete the colorful mix, Rejuvenation is also offering Art Deco porcelain bath hardware in three colors: black, white, and sea foam. "Perhaps no other color evokes the playful modern mood of the Deco era as much as sea foam, a color that remained popular well into the 1950s," states Bo Sullivan, senior designer and historian at Rejuvenation.

This newly extended line makes it even easier for homeowners to remodel an entire bathroom or kitchen in a coordinated style, color or design. The collection includes towel bars, towel rings, soap dishes, cup and cup holders, hooks, and glass shelves. Matching lighting and switch plates are also available. The hardware's Streamline style brings clean lines and classic color to bathrooms, while adding a dash of vintage character. Just like the originals, these accessories are easy to mount and clean. All of these products will be available to purchase in July 2008.
