Bath Tub Shipping

Because of their size and weight, bath tubs have special shipping policies:

  • Tubs can only be shipped to the lower 48 states. (We ship other items to Alaska, Hawaii, and Canada.)

  • Tubs are delivered curbside. The trucking company is not equipped to bring the tub inside your home.

  • You must be present to accept delivery and inspect the crate. The trucking company will contact you when the tub arrives in your area, and you'll have 5 days to schedule and receive your order. (If delivery cannot be made in 5 days, the tub will be returned, a return freight charge assessed, and the balance refunded to you.)

  • Carefully inspect the shipping crate prior to accepting delivery. It is essential that you note any damage to the crate on the freight bill before signing it and accepting delivery. If you have questions about filling out the form, call us at 888-401-1900 and we'll do our best to help. If it's obvious the tub itself has been damaged, you have the right to refuse delivery.

  • Within 48 hours of delivery, uncrate and inspect the tub. When unpacking, take care to not lose washers and other small parts. Most trucking companies allow only 48 hours from initial delivery for us to file a damage claim. If you find damage, call us immediately at 800-401-1900. Note that the crate and all packing materials must be retained intact for carrier inspection and/or return.
