Will compact fluorescent bulbs work outdoors in cold weather climates?

Customers living in cold winter climates should know that CFLs take longer to reach full brightness in very cold outdoor temperatures.

However, our high-performance GU24 bulbs have a "start rating" temperature of -20F, and - once warmed up - will operate fine in outdoor lighting for all but the most severe outdoor conditions.
