FAQ

How long will the lacquer protect my fixture's finish?

The baked-on lacquer we apply to some of the finishes available on our exclusive lighting will last for many years in most conditions, although it's normal for clear lacquer to "yellow" over a long period of time.

However, be warned that some environments cause lacquer to fail faster than normal. Exposure to salt air, excessive heat and humidity, airborne grease and chemicals (aerosols, paint fumes, cleaning products) will cause lacquer to pitt and wear unevenly.

Tip: Lacquered and painted lighting finishes should be cleaned only with a soft, damp cloth and very mild soap (if necessary). Never use any sort of metal polish on lacquered finishes.
