Antique Interior Door Sets were often ordered in different finishes for bathroom and kitchen doors.

Traditionally, tarnish-resistant Polished Nickel was installed on the inside of bathroom and kitchen doors, and a finish which complemented the lighting and hardware finishes in adjoining rooms was installed on the opposite side.

Different finishes on antique Exterior Door Sets weren't common, but we're gladly bucking tradition in this matter. Finish the outside to match your porch lighting and porch hardware, and the inside to match your interior switchplates and other hardware.
