FAQ
How should I dispose of used compact fluorescent bulbs?
CFLs, including GU24 bulbs, contain a small amount of mercury and should be recycled responsibly. Many cities and towns have established guidelines for CFL disposal.
If you're not sure what to do with your burned-out CFLs, please don't throw them away. Contact your local municipal solid waste agency directly, or visit Lamprecycle.org.
Tip: Our local store customers can bring their used CFLs in to any of our store locations. We'll take the bulbs in for recycling.
