Our adaptation of the original all-aluminum shade to a semi-indirect aluminum/glass combo shade allows for some light diffusion from below the fixture.

Both bead chain shades are designed for the Tessa, a 1930s pendant that held on to its popularity well into the 1950s. As such, folks associate the fixture with the postwar period and the Streamline style.
