This 4-Inch Spindle with Hub Adapter contains a sleeve in the middle designed to fit locks and latches with 8-millimeter spindle hubs (Rejuvenation exclusive latches and locks have 7-millimeter hubs). The sleeve provides doorknob stability and balance, along with the correct orientation for oval doorknobs.

Tips: Only fits mortise locks with 8-millimeter hubs, like our Door Mortise Lock, French Door Mortise Lock, and Privacy Mortise Lock.
