A modest glass shade with 6 indented panels divided by smooth, raised borders, the BB4741 is a Colonial Revival shade which also adds a handsome touch to fixtures from other eras, such as the Transitional Mission-style Jordan Valley and the Beaux Arts Alberta.

While many lighting and hardware designs were available well beyond their most popular years, glass shades, particularly understated styles like this one, probably carry over from era to era even more so.
