This crisp-cornered glass shade reminds us of certain 1950s to 1970s lighting styles, but like so many things deemed "retro" today, those styles were influenced by even earlier time periods.

One Rejuvenation employee recalls shooting pool in the 70s underneath fixtures with stained glass, fringe-laden shades. Apparently, designers were copping turn-of-the-century lighting styles around the same time that they were dancing The Hustle.

Nonetheless, this Frosted Fluted Ball Shade makes a fine mate for Historic and Colonial Revival fixtures like the Dayton, Alberta, and Holgate.
