Half of this large lightbulb has an opaque metallic coating that blocks bulb and filament glare.

Installed tip down, this bulb reflects light back up and around the shade for plentiful indirect light.

It's a striking affect when used on the Kerby and Tibbetts, but it's also suitable on the Willis or other Pendant Lighting used with open-ended shades.
