If you've been inside a few old houses, then you've probably seen this classic rolled-edge backplate design, which was popular from the late 1800s into the 1940s. Many American hardware companies made a version.

Sized to cover a 2-1/87quot; bore, this straightforward design works well in homes of many different styles. Pair it with classic cabinet knobs, drawer pulls, and bin pulls.
