To operate a single light from two locations, use 2 Three-way Push-Button Switches. For example, you could control a staircase fixture from the bottom and top of the stairs.

For dimming, use 1 Three-way Push-Button Switch and 1 Three-way Push-Button Dimmer Switch.

If you need to operate a single light from three locations, add 1 Four-Way Push-Button Switch.
