The Randall and Adams sets - what's the difference? One quarter of an inch.

The Randall's 2" rosette was common on 1920s, '30s, and '40s hardware. However, its small diameter won't cover "pre-drilled" doors with a 2-1/8" bore.

Instead, try it on old doors with their original mortise hardware, or better yet, on new undrilled doors.
