The Wentworth's proportions are characteristic of 1920s and '30s hardware, when backplates became smaller and less ornate. Sold by Russell & Erwin as "Cleo," this Colonial Revival design was popular from about 1925 into the 1940s.

Depression-era door hardware was small, but we've scaled-up the width of this backplate - while preserving its slim profile - to cover the standard 2-1/8" holes bored into new doors and old doors retrofitted for newer hardware.

Tips: Latch sets include 3-1/2" spindle for 1-3/8" thick doors. Longer spindles, different backplates, and other doorknob options available. Contact Customer Service.
