  • Era: 1910-1920
  • Historical Style: Colonial Revival

The fluid elegance of the Buchanan's large teardrop body comes from multiple stacked brass spinnings. Its scrolled arm is lost-wax cast to capture the delicate curves of the original. This fresh take on the traditional Colonial chandelier look works well in any dining or entry space large enough to handle its beautiful and sophisticated scale.

This family is typical of pre-1920 Colonial Revival fixtures which were much heavier and more solidly detailed than later versions. We first saw the original of this fixture in a stunning 1911 Old English/Craftsman - proof that period lighting styles didn't always match period house styles.

For a version with candle drip covers see the Jamison. For a matching sconce see the Foster and Boardman.
