Transitional Mission lighting bridged styles, not eras. These lights combine elements like soft "ogee" (S-shaped) curves and bell shade holders with angular Mission forms.
While its took its inspiration from Arts & Crafts lighting, Transitional Mission isn't what lighting buffs would call "pure." But then, most folks today aren't purists living in period style.
Consequently, lights like the Overlook, are suited to Craftsman, modern, and many other interior settings.
