In the vast "cosmos" of mid-century modern lighting designs, the hourglass profile remains one of the most iconic. Fresh and futuristic when first introduced, our handcrafted aluminum fixtures are an elegant update for period and modern homes.

More than just "retro," our Hourglass fixtures truly stand apart. With authentic space-age materials and sleek, streamlined profiles, they feel a bit like the past tense in fast forward.

  • Based on the 1959 Stockholm series manufactured by EJS lighting. All-aluminum construction, just like the originals.
  • Small perforations in aluminum shades produce a delightful starlight effect when lit.
  • 3-way switch for up, down, or up-and-down illumination.
  • Available with two to five lights.
  • Use up to a 60W bulb in the down position, and a 25W in the up.
  • Four finishes available on the up-and-down "cones"; fixture body is finished in highlighted brushed aluminum.
