The Holgate is a Sheffield style flush mount fixture introduced during the Colonial Revival era. It is small enough to adapt to use in many kinds of rooms, from kitchens, to bedrooms, to hallways.

Look closely at this Colonial Revival light and you'll see deeply textured detail flowing from canopy to shade holder. The organic designs of the Sheffield style brought an end-to-end intricacy to light fixtures when it debuted in 1905, and its beauty captivated many kinds of homeowners for the next 20 years.
