The Skidmore, like the Burnside but with a shade holder, was originally made with a much smaller ceiling canopy and a skinnier cord.

Modern UL rules required a larger canopy to fit today's junction boxes, and heavier wire for grounding. Other than that, the Skidmore is unchanged from the original. Comes with a white porcelain canopy and your choice of maroon, black, or white cloth cord.

Tip: Accepts most 2-1/4" fitter shades. Shown with optional carbon-filament bulb.
