Among our antique lighting designs, the Kensington, Hathaway, Glenwood, and Welborn are the best examples of America's fascination with its European past - in particular the "romantic revival" which flourished following the end of World War I.

Each of these fixtures reflects the appreciation our country had at the time for Beaux Arts design. The Kensington was popular from the mid-1920s to the mid-1930s, and can be combined with any of the above fixtures for a coordinated lighting suite.

Tip: Avoid paper/parchment shades, due to the short candle sockets. Flame-tip bulbs, as shown, look best.
