- Era: 1917-1927
- Historical Style: Colonial Revival
Small, sweet, and packing lots of watts, the Creston was seen in plenty of second-story rooms with low ceilings, and also in hallways, bathrooms, smaller entries... all evidence that size does matter (as far as lighting is concerned, anyway). Then, as now, small scale meant versatility.
Pan fixtures have a comfortable quality that coordinates with 1900s -1930s homes, regardless of architectural style. Houses with lower ceilings will find these fixtures fit the bill. Understated lighting design allows for lots of room-to-room compatibility.
For a chandelier version see the Powell Valley. For a larger pan, see the Elmwood and Mt. Tabor. For a craftsman pan, see the Chelsea and Argyle.
