The Glide is a stylish, late-1930s Streamline wall bracket that's useful and beautiful in many rooms of the house.

The brass body and ivory glass slip shade are an original combination; the BZ6269 shade was known at the time as "Cheerio". Originally manufactured by Lightolier and distributed by Sears (among others).

The Blairmont and Ellis are coordinating ceiling fixtures in this family.

Tip: The Glide's shade holder is very narrow, and the wide bases of some compact fluorescent bulbs will be too wide to seat down into it. Luckily, there is a solution.
