We discovered this Arts & Crafts wall bracket in an 1920s hardware catalogue. True to the original design, the cage, hinged on one side and clasped on the other, swings out for bulb changing. The top and bottom of the cage are open so that light washes the walls, above and below it.

Elegant in hallways or flanking fireplace mantles, the Hubbard is a good companion to the Arts & Crafts style of the Bancroft, Amherst, and Lovejoy.
