The Pacific City, the standard of Mission-style wall brackets, was one of the earliest Mission-style lights deemed worthy of decorating a room which formerly had quite spare, utilitarian furnishings. Until Mission's tasteful style became popular, consideration for bathroom lighting design pretty much didn't exist.
