The Cheshire wall bracket is period bathroom lighting that's especially suited for positioning over medicine cabinets and kitchen sinks. Seen in homes from 1900 to the mid-1930s.

Tip: The three 100 watt bulbs this fixture accepts may be a little too revealing in the bathroom mirror, unless, of course, interrogation is your thing. Three 60 or even 40 watt bulbs would be much kinder.
