The Sweet Home is shown without a clip-on shade, but it looks quite nice with one too. We particularly like the BJ6834 for the semi-formal elegance it brings to this modest fixture.

If, however, you're hell bent for historical accuracy, we suggest using flame-tip or round, white globe light bulbs.

While the bare bulb look isn't for everyone, going shadeless not only salutes the fixture's origins, but the flow of the fixture's design as a whole, all parts included.

After all, many of the oldest period lighting styles came into the world "naked."
