Description:

Brass, polished to mirror finish.

Protective Coating:

None; can be waxed to slow and even-out tarnish.

Wear Expectations:

Unlacquered Polished Brass will age naturally, showing fingerprints and scratches; will oxidize severely in humid or salty air.

Maintenance:

Wax before installation and allow to mellow. If polishing is necessary, use a quality brass polish and soft cloth.

Comments:

Ideal for older homes where "shiny brass" seems out of place - give this finish a year or two and it will look like it's always been there.
