Twelve Lighting Finishes Produced by Hand
Rejuvenation's solid brass lighting comes in a choice of twelve metal finishes, each carefully modeled on those offered from the 1800s through the 1960s. We produce all our finishes by hand here in our Portland, OR factory, and take pride in their high quality and exceptional beauty.

Finely rubbed to create an elegant satin finish, which is then lacquered to preserve it.
A baked lacquer coating applied over the surface to protect the shine for years.
A mirror finish that will gradually and gracefully mellow and darken over time.
Uses a tinted lacquer over antiqued and highlighted satin brass to approximate the look of copper.
A finely brushed, antique-brown finish with mellow highlights and a satin lacquer.
A rich metallic brown lacquer commonly found on Modern America fixtures.
A satin black paint applied to a sandblasted surface to give a stable and long-lasting finish.
A dark blackish-brown finish, fairly flat and uniform, protected with a matte lacquer coating.
A subtle olive-brown lacquer coating over a satin-brushed surface that has the elegant appearance of aged brass.
Created by gently rubbing nickel-plated brass with an abrasive pad for a satin finish. It is not lacquered.
Became common after about 1930, when it replaced nickel as a tarnish-free finish in kitchens and baths.
Standard in pre-1930 kitchens and baths. It is warmer in tone than chrome and tarnishes softly. It is not lacquered.
Caring for your Finish
Lacquered and painted fixtures should be cleaned with a soft, damp cloth, and very mild soap, if necessary. Never use brass or metal polish of any kind on lacquered surfaces.
Unlacquered Polished Brass can be cleaned with mild soap and polished with brass polish and a soft cloth.
Polished Nickel and Brushed Nickel clean up easily with a little household ammonia and a soft cloth.

"Non-standard" finishes are available for certain fixtures. Please contact Customer Service. Fixtures in non-standard finishes are not returnable.
