New Reed Articulated Swing Arm Sconce Sheds Light Where it’s Needed Most
Creating and Illuminating Personal Workspaces
PORTLAND, OR. July 7, 2010 –
The term home office doesn’t have to be an oxymoron. The right task lights, make getting the job done a pleasure. Rejuvenation’s newest industrial offering, the Reed – a double-knuckle swing-arm fixture – really gets the light where it’s needed. Task lights like these were found in factories and offices across America in the early 1900s. Their inviting pools of light are perfect everywhere from bookstores and coffee shops to that spot at home where you read your book and drink your coffee.
Reed is Rejuvenation’s first swing arm fixture with a double-knuckle design to allow for a swivel movement as well as a unique extension of the arm outward. The shade and socket can also be angled to bring a focused light to the task at hand. This handsome workhorse of a light can be used to create smaller rooms within larger ones- carving out what everyone needs - a little more personal space. It also has numerous commercial uses: art galleries, hotels, offices, retail spaces, reading nooks, and over bedside tables to name just a few.
Made to order, this solid brass wall sconce is offered in 13 finish options and has a variety of metal shades to choose from.
