Not all Mission design fits the classic mold, and the lines drawn between Mission, Craftsman, and Arts & Crafts lighting styles are subjective at best.

Yet, to the detailed eye, the style differences are obvious, and what we call Transitional Mission lightings rests comfortably in that gray area.

Combining a square vocabulary with softer curves and profiles drawn from Classical and Colonial sources, Transitional Mission is lighter and more feminine than its related styles, making it especially suitable for interiors and rooms that benefit from a less formal approach.
