This fixture is magnificent: the proportions are handsome, the craftsmanship fine. Even the chain links are made of oak; the beautiful rippled glass is original (it's got a mossy green tone that, when the bulbs are lit, turns more gold). We've given the oak a light cleaning and carefully repaired a few of the wooden links, but otherwise this piece must look much as it did when new-- spectacular.

Note: New sockets. No ground wire. Each lantern has its own newly replaced pullchain (not visible in photos).
