Made from solid fir, these enormous, primitive corbels are as commanding and sturdy as the mighty tree they came from. While they originally held up the roof of a huge early-century ship repair dry dock warehouse here in Portland, we like to picture them in a mead-filled hall, the likes of which would have held Beowulf and his compatriots. As each one is roughly hand-carved from the trunk and crotch of a single massive Douglas fir tree, these corbels still maintain their natural shape, wear and texture. Ideal for a builder who is looking to make a statement, or as decorative elements in a commercial or hospitality space, these corbels will lend plenty of rustic inspiration in any setting.

Condition notes: The worn nature of these corbels is their very essence. They are very solid and stable.
