Industrial Table from St. Louis Ordnance Plant Item # F0522
This attractive industrial table features a unique and important history: they were salvaged from the St. Louis Ordnance Plant in Missouri, where they were used to build ammunition during 2 years in World War II. The plant only operated from 1943 to 1945, built billions of weapon cartridges and employed men and women, as well as African Americans, which was unusual during this period of segregation.
This table is an useful and important relic, featuring fantastic original mint-green finish, wonderful wear and the original St. Louis Ordnance Plant badge.

- Condition Notes: Plenty of chips and scratches in the finish. Clear-coated to preserve the finish, and prevent paint flaking.
