Maroon Tin Sugar Carrying Case Item # F0581

Circa 1915

According to the stamping on the sides, this case was once property of the ASR Company, which means that it once contained sugar cane for one of the largest and oldest sugar companies in world – today, the ASR Co. is known as the Domino Sugar Company. While the history of this piece is compelling, the worn finish on the tin and the functional nature of the piece are just as charming.

  • Historical Style: Industrial
  • Condition notes: Worn finish, but clear coated to preserve the character.
