Seville Art Metal Deco Magazine Rack C1928 Item # F1495
The stamped studio name and copyright date allows us to attribute this beautifully aged magazine rack to the Seville Art Metal company, circa 1928. Seville Art Metal operated for a very short period of time in the 1920's and 1930's and this adjustable magazine rack was one of their hallmark designs. Featuring nude figures, playing the pipes in French "liberty" caps, the figures are framed by swirling loops that mimic smoke or trees. While lovely, this rack has a functional component as well, which allows the rack to adjust and expand to accommodate more or fewer magazines.
- Historical Style: Art Deco
