Very Early Double-Sided Neon Restaurant Arrow Item # F1548
It's always a good time to eat with this extraordinary vintage Restaurant sign - especially as this piece is so rare and unusual. We believe this curvy galvanized arrow canister, which is complete with stamped galvanized Egg and Dart trim, dates to the early 20th century, and we were told that it hung outside of an establishment in upstate, NY. When it came into our shop, it was finished with layers and layers of green and paint. We stripped the paint away to reveal the ghost of the original lettering of "Restaurant," which we used to create the template for the new neon lettering you see today.
- Historical Style: Classic
- Condition Notes: The original paint and galvanized steel construction are all in place, but we've restored the neon to full glory so that it will glow for many more years to come. Ready to hang via the sturdy steel arms and comes outfitted with an 8' nylon cord.
