Pair of Thaden-Jordan Molded Plywood Side Chairs Item # F1886
Like Charles Eames, Herbert Von Thaden began experimenting with molded plywood as a military resource during World War II. These handsome side chairs were an unexpected result. Made from bent plywood and veneered in amber-colored maple, this pair stands in excellent condition, despite their 60 years of age. There are some scratches and a little discoloration in the wood, but we call that "character." This pair of early mid-century modern relics would add flare and style to any room.
Condition notes: Very good over-all condition. Some scratches and discoloration in the maple veneer, all commensurate with age. See all photos for details.
