Set of 4 "Windsor" Reading Company Finger Lifts c1885 Item # F5019
The "Windsor" pattern by Reading Hardware Company was arguably one of the most successful and widely distributed patterns of the 1880s and 1890s. With it's distinctive motif of stylized flowers, angular leaves and stems, graduated "bars" (long before cell phones) and signature band with incised circles, it remains popular (and oft reproduced) today. These four finger lifts would have been used to raise and lower a window sash.
- Historical Style: Eastlake
