Antique Whooping Cough Sign Item # F6322

Circa 1915

We love the color, letter type, wear and message of this great early-century public wellness sign. The poster, which is shown here in its original frame, served as an announcement of new policies revolving around whooping cough outbreaks, which were particularly bad during the 1910's and '20's (although it still effects many people today). Hang it on your wall, your doorway or set it on your book shelf – a unique and sobering relic from the past.

  • Historical Style: Traditional
  • Condition notes: The paper poster has some signs of wear, but it appears to have been protected by glass for the last several decades. The frame has a few nicks and scratches, but all wear in commensurate with age.
