Salvaged as part of a collection of classroom maps from the Eastern Washington Teaching University, this mid-century scroll-down map was drawn for and distributed by one of the most trusted map, globe and chart companies in American history: Denoyer-Geppert of Chicago, IL. This brightly colored example, printed on paper and mounted on linen depicts the extended empire of Alexander the Great during the last centuries of BC.
